Jonathan L. Wong, DMD

Dentist Anesthesiologist

Jonathan Wong is a Dentist Anesthesiologist with extensive postgraduate hospital training in delivering dentistry, oral surgery, and anesthesia. He graduated with honors, receiving his Bachelor’s of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Southern Illinois University. He completed his General Practice Residency/Hospital Dentistry training at Saint John’s Mercy Medical Center in Saint Louis, Missouri. Dr. Wong then completed two years of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and anesthesia training at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. After realizing the importance of anesthesia in providing safe and comfortable dental care, he completed his residency and was appointed as Chief Resident at Stony Brook Medical Center in New York. Here, he provided sedation and general anesthesia to children and adults undergoing medical and dental procedures, both in and out of the hospital.

Dr. Wong maintains certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He is a Diplomate of both the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Wong lectures both locally and nationally to other dentists and healthcare professionals on anesthesia safety. He volunteers with Chesapeake Care Clinic and Mission of Mercy. He is also an affiliate instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Jillian Reynolds, DDS

Pediatric Dentist

Jillian Reynolds grew up in Harrisonburg, VA in the Shenandoah Valley and after high school graduation attended West Virginia University, in Morgantown, WV. She continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her DDS. Following VCU, she moved to New York and completed the Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Reynolds is trained to provide comprehensive dentistry to the well child as well as children that are medically compromised, developmentally disabled, or victims of trauma. In addition to treatment in office, Dr Reynolds is on the Professional Staff at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, allowing her to address all levels of dental anxiety and cooperation with treatment under Nitrous Oxide or General Anesthesia. Dr. Reynolds is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Scott Sachs, DDS

Pediatric Dentist

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Dr. Scott Sachs is proud to call Hampton Roads home. He graduated from Kempsville High School, received his B.A. from the University of Virginia, and his D.D.S degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Sachs committed three more years to advanced and specialized pediatric training in New York City:  a one-year general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, and then a two-year pediatric dental residency at New York University, serving as one of the chief residents his final year.

Dr. Sachs is trained to treat all types of children, patients with special needs, and victims of trauma. In order to address all levels of cooperation or patients with special needs, Dr. Sachs is trained to provide treatment using nitrous oxide sedation in the office or general anesthesia at the Children’s Hospital of King’s Daughters.  Dr. Sachs is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and maintains his active membership with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
