Introducing Jillian Reynolds, DDS
Dr. Reynolds is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist (Children’s Dentist). She is trained to provide comprehensive dentistry to the well child as well as children who are medically compromised, developmentally disabled, or victims of trauma. In addition to treatment in office, Dr. Reynolds is on the Professional Staff at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD), allowing her to address all levels of dental anxiety and cooperation with treatment under Nitrous Oxide or General Anesthesia. Dr. Reynolds is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Who is Jillian Reynolds?
Jillian Reynolds grew up in Harrisonburg, VA in the Shenandoah Valley and after high school graduation attended West Virginia University, in Morgantown, WV. She continued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her dental degree. Following VCU, she moved to New York and completed the Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Reynolds lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and two wonderful children. Her favorite color is blue, and she loves to spend time with her family at the beach. When she isn’t working as a children’s dentist and organization aficionado at her practice in Norfolk, she likes to give back to the Hampton Roads community as a volunteer with the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater.
What Does Dr. Reynolds Love About Being a Pediatric Dentist?
Dr. Reynolds loves working with children and making a visit to the dentist great. As a mother of two children, she is passionate about oral health beginning at pregnancy and early access to dental care for children. She loves being able to be part of her patients’ lives as they grow up from children to young adults. She also appreciates the pivotal role that the pediatric dentist and dental home have on the healthy growth and development of kids.
